Kazahenergoekspertise was renamed into the Institute of Electricity and Energy Saving

 "Reorganization of the institutions  was made for the implementation of state policy in the field of energy saving  and energy efficiency , fixed in the electricity sector , coal , renewable energy sources  (RES) and energy efficiency , non-priority sectors to ensure the sustainable and environmentally friendly development of all other sectors of the economy, increase welfare of the people and the country's energy security , provided by the law of RK "On state support of industrial innovation " -  follows from the communication department.

It is noted that the new name indicated the main activities of the organization. "The institute was established to implement the above-mentioned areas on a permanent basis for System Studies, facilitate adaptation of international best practices and transfer of advanced technologies in the energy world, as well as providing information, analytical and advisory services to public bodies, as well as businesses and individuals," - explained in a press release.

Right of possession and  the use of the state stake of JSC "Kazahenergoekspertise" belonged to the Committee State Energy Supervision and control  of MINT  of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Industry proceeds in accordance with legislation.
