As part of the implementation of the energy efficiency improvement project in Kazakhstan, Akim of the region Yeraly Tugzhanov met with representatives of the World Bank in Kazakhstan and JSC "Electric power and energy saving development Institute". In March – May of this year, the implementation of the first stage of the project began in kindergarten No. 31 "Yerkemay", No. 54 "Ainalayyn" and in preschool No. 53. With the launch of this project, the amount of electricity consumed has decreased by 40%. For example, in kindergarten No. 31 Yerkemay, the amount of energy consumed from 4500 kW decreased by 2130 kW, and in kindergarten No. 54 "Ainalayyn" – from 6620 kW to 5100 kW. In the future, it is planned to introduce this program in 24 schools and kindergartens of the region.
- As you know, in 2015, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed an agreement on a grant for the implementation of an energy efficiency improvement project in Kazakhstan. The Trust fund of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation has allocated funds, " Yeraly Tugzhanov said.
Then the governor of the region and representatives of the Swiss Confederation visited kindergarten No. 53.
- The advantages of the project are that we have completely replaced the radiators, installed LED energy-saving lamps, as well as an automated heat point. We conducted monitoring, and we were very pleased with the results. For example, if in May of last year we paid from 55 to 70 thousand tenge, then in May of this year we paid 35 thousand tenge for electricity, " said Saule Alibekova, director of the sanatorium-tuberculosis nursery of kindergarten No. 53.
It is worth noting that the energy efficiency improvement project in Kazakhstan is being implemented for the first time in Mangystau, and in the future it will be implemented in other regions of the country.
