On September 14, the Inter-University Research Center for Sustainable Development (CIRPS), represented by Deputy Directors Stefano Grego and Luciano Spinelli, as well as the JSC "Electric power and energy saving development Institute" of Kazakhstan, represented by the Director of the Center for State Energy Register Almat Kabykenov, Director of the Center for International Cooperation, Investment Attraction and Information Support Zhanibek Akhmetov and Chief Manager Arman Kapan, held a meeting via video link, coordinated by Dr. Alireza Khosravi, an employee of CIRPS.
The purpose of the meeting was to demonstrate the best qualities of CIRPS, emphasizing the more than thirty years of experience of the Center in the field of applied research, in higher education, as well as in providing technical and scientific services. Special attention was paid to the competence of CIRPS in managing and participating in relationships with national as well as international universities and researchers. The potential of cooperation with the JSC "Electric power and energy saving development Institute" of Kazakhstan was discussed taking into account the possible mutual interest in the development of a research center in Astana, in the field of human resources and high technical training. Both sides agreed to further advance this direction after resolving related issues.
